イワショウブ　　　　（岩菖蒲）　　　　ユリ科　

和名の由来  葉は線形で根際から生え, ショウブの葉に似ており、それが和名の由来
花の特徴  花は１か所に３つずつ付く
開花時期  8−９月
分布生育地  本州の低山帯〜高山帯の湿地や湿原に生える　　日本の固有種
その他  氷河期の植物が生き残ったものと思われる
